In 2024 we launched our Carbon Action plastic labels portfolio to help the packaging value chain reduce its carbon footprint. The portfolio offers printers and brand-owners a tangible path towards Scope 3 emission reductions. This impact is quantified by an externally validated LCA calculation process.

As RafCycle partners, converters collect the label waste from brand-owners for recycling. This is how they support their own customers in minimizing waste.
\nWe also continued our development efforts with our key recycling partner Soprema and with several paper mills in Central Europe for paper-to-paper recycling. In recent years we have seen steady development in PET release liner recycling as well.
\nBy the end of 2024, RafCycle had a total of 470 partners in Europe and the Americas.

In 2024 we set a new labeling industry standard by embedding product footprint data directly into customer quotes. Product footprints, called product passport prototypes (PPPs), provide our customers with up-to-date environmental information on our products. This helps them make informed purchasing decisions that support their own sustainability targets as well as their customers’ needs.
